I first started playing this wonderful game in college while I was attending the University of Arizona, studying psychology. I taught myself how to play the physical game from reading instruction books that were readily available. When I got down to a single digit handicap, I knew from my studies in psychology that I would have to improve my mental game of golf to continue my rate of overall improvement, but when I looked around for instruction books on the mental aspects of golf, I found that there were surprisingly none.

So, with the help of my good friend Dr. Bill Cole, I wrote the first version of Subconscious Golf, mainly for application to my own game. When other golfers, who were equally frustrated at the lack of available instruction in such an obviously vital part of the game heard these tapes, they all wanted copies. This really proved to be the beginning of Subconscious Golf. We wrote and produced the first complete set of Subconscious Golf cassette tapes in 1975.

To say we were a little ahead of our time would be quite an understatement!
